The location is ideal for those who like a quiet holiday, walking, birdwatching. The facilities for children are good and the the access to the beach is 5mins.
Take all your provisions with you and you never need get in the car for the duration of your stay, as you can walk in either direction to lovely villages / pubs / castles (that is if you like walking).

4th time we have been to Link House Farm. We have stayed in a different house this time which we have enjoyed. If you want an easily accessible beach holiday, this is the place to come, it takes less than 5 mins to walk to the beach even with toddlers. Shallow shoreline, rock pools at one end of the beach, smooth sandy beaches to play sports on, we watched surfers and some Link House Farm guests with a blow up canoe type boat paddling out and trying to surf back in, very entertaining. Sometimes rough, sometimes beautifully calm. You take your chance with conditions on North East Coast ! I think we will be back again.

This cottage is in a splendid location five minutes (not two minutes!) walk from beautiful golden sands and dunes with views to the Farne Islands and Dunstanburgh. The coastal path runs right along the edge. The children's play area is lovely and safe. The kitchen is pleasant and well-furnished. The peacocks roaming the grounds are an added treat!

The cottage was set in a lovely quiet location, and only a stones throw to the most fabulous beach that we had to ourselves. The children particularly enjoyed feeding the peacocks through the stable door. Alnwick castle was only a short drive away, and was an excellent family day out.
